From Austin on Hwy 290

Travel Hwy 290 East to Brenham.
As you enter Brenham, take Route 36 South Bellville/Houston 290 loop to the RIGHT.
Stay on Hwy 290 East and go about 9 miles past Brenham to stop light in Chappell Hill.
Pass through the light in Chappell Hill, continuing straight for another 1.8 miles.
Turn right on TRACKSIDE ROAD (small green highway sign). Go 1.6 miles to the gate of the Margaret Austin Center. The road winds. At 1.6 miles, it makes a 90 degree turn to your left; the Center is right in front of you, on the right hand side of the road as it turns.
Travel time from Austin is approximately 1.5 hours

From Dallas on Interstate 35

Take Interstate 35 South toward Waco.
Past Waco is Temple; take Exit 299 and turn left at the first light to follow Highway 190/36 toward Cameron.
Past Cameron is Milano. Just South of Milano, Highways 190 and 36 split. Highway 36 heads South to Caldwell. There is a flea market on your left and a traffic light right in front of you at that turn. The first thing you see on Highway 36 at the turn is a railroad bridge.
Follow Highway 36 all the way to Brenham. You will see signs for Brenham once you reach Caldwell. Stay on 36 -- it will merge with 290 East. Do not take business 290 when it veers off to the left just outside Brenham and do not take the exit for 290 West to Austin. Highway 36 merges smoothly with 290, curving to the left around Brenham.
Stay on Hwy 290 East and go about 9 miles past Brenham to stop light in Chappell Hill.
Pass through the light in Chappell Hill, continuing straight for another 1.8 miles.
Turn right on TRACKSIDE ROAD. (Small green highway sign.) Go 1.6 miles to the gate of the Margaret Austin Center. The road winds. At 1.6 miles, it makes a 90 degree turn to your left; the Center is right in front of you, on the right hand side of the road as it turns.
Travel time is approximately 4.5 – 5 hours from the intersection of Hwy 190 and Interstate 35

From Dallas on Interstate 45

Travel Southeast on Interstate 45 to Huntsville, approximately 185 miles.
In Huntsville, go southwest on Texas 30 to Roans Prairie, approximately 27 miles.
In Roans Prairie, go southwest on Texas 90 to Navasota, approximately 17 miles.
In Navasota go South approximately 22 miles on Texas 6 to Hempstead bypass.
At bypass, go west on US 290.
2.5 miles beyond the Brazos River turn left onto TRACKSIDE ROAD. Your first landmark is the Brazos River. Then you will see a large white stone sign saying "Welcome to Washington County." The Chappell Hill Meat Market is your next landmark, on your right. Not to far after that, you will see "Log Homes" on your left, including three model homes. Get in the left lane. There are three left turn turn-ins, one at the bottom of the hill where the Log Homes are, and two at the top of the hill. Take the second turn-in at the top of the hill, and that’s Trackside Road (there is a small green sign on the right of the highway, but it’s hard to see).
If you reach a traffic light, (in Chappell Hill) you’ve passed the turn-off to Trackside Road.
Turn around and go back 1.8 miles from the light back east to Trackside Road.
On Trackside Road, go 1.6 miles to the gate of the Margaret Austin Center. The road winds. At 1.6 miles, it makes a 90 degree turn to your left; the Center is right in front of you, on the right hand side of the road as it turns.
Travel time is approximately 4.5-5 hours from Interstate 635 & Dallas North Tollway (Galleria)

From Houston on Hwy 290

Travel Hwy 290 West through the town of Hempstead. Stay on Hwy 290.
2.5 miles beyond the Brazos River, turn left onto TRACKSIDE ROAD. Your first landmark is the Brazos River. Then you will see a large white stone sign saying "Welcome to Washington County." The Chappell Hill Meat Market is your next landmark, on your right. Not too far after that, you will see "Log Homes" on your left, including three model homes. Get in the left lane. There are three left turn turn-ins, one at the bottom of the hill where the Log Homes are, and two at the top of the hill. Take the second turn-in at the top of the hill, and that’s Trackside Road (there is a small green sign on the right of the highway, but it’s hard to see).
If you reach a traffic light (Chappell Hill), you’ve passed the turnoff to Trackside Road. Turn around and go back 1.8 miles from the light back toward Houston to Trackside Road.
On Trackside Road, go 1.6 miles to the gate of the Margaret Austin Center. The road winds. At 1.6 miles, it makes a 90 degree turn to your left; the Center is right in front of you, on the right hand side of the road as it turns.
The Center is located approximately 65 miles from downtown Houston. The drive time is approximately one hour and twenty minutes.

From Houston on Interstate 10

Take I-10 West toward San Antonio to the Brookshire/Hwy 359 exit (Exit 732).
Follow Hwy 359 North (it winds straight, left, and right through Brookshire) to Hwy 290 (go past the business 290 cut off, which leads to Hempstead).
Take Hwy 290 West (left).

From San Antonio on Interstate 10

Take I-10 East toward Houston to the Sealy/Hwy 36 exit (Exit 720). Travel time is approximately 2.25 hours from San Antonio.
Take Hwy 36 North (left) at Sealy to Brenham.
Turn East (right) on Hwy 290 in Brenham.
Go about 9 miles past Brenham to stop light in Chappell Hill.
Pass through the light in Chappell Hill, continuing straight for another 1.8 miles.
